likes to claim that they are a "grassroots" organization,
which implies that the group is volunteer based and working
out of passion for the issue. But the well-meaning donors
who send their hard-earned money to this group may not realize
where it really goes.
A large portion of those donations go into the pockets of
PetPAC's leaders. Just in the last part of 2007, almost
$70,000 of PetPAC's donations went directly to their
Chairman Bill Hemby.
